from Deaf President Now: l was at the rally on March 1 to tell the Board of Trustees we wanted them to select a Deaf president. On March 6, I witnessed the students' march to the Mayflower Hotel to protest the Board's selection of Dr. Elizabeth Ann Zinser as Gallaudet's seventh president. All week, I was on campus every day to support students, faculty and staff in their Cause. I am an alumna of Gallaudet, former faculty member and, best of all, Deaf. Everyday i felt stronger - our Cause will be heard, yes, HEARD, all over the world. And, we were!
