Revisiting Foundations

Online Exploration of the The Integrated Model of Interpreting

Wherever we are in our interpreting career, identifying ongoing learning opportunities that challenge us are part of our professional development. Since you participated in the first module of the 8-Part Foundations of Interpreting Seminar Series, we hope you’ve continued to discover insights into your own interpreting practice.

For many of us, online work, workshops and learning have become a part of all of our lives. Several long-time students of the IMI have developed this virtual continuation of the model, aligned with the content and approach of Foundations I: activities followed by discussion. We welcome anyone who has taken Foundations I - and not yet taken additional modules - who would like to further pursue the non-evaluative unpacking of interpreting work, and the deepening of reflective practices.

Join us as we explore aspects of the IMI together online!

The session will take place on Zoom, and will be recorded. By registering, you are giving permission for this recording. The recorded session will be used by the facilitators for learning purposes only, will not be posted anywhere, and will be destroyed shortly after the end of the seminar.

All events are scheduled for Eastern time zone. Please adjust accordingly.
