Supporting Our Deaf Interpreter Colleagues and Deaf Interpreters in Training

If you have taken seminars through BMC and would like to support efforts to share these trainings with our Deaf colleagues, please use the link below to contribute what you can. Donations will be used to help defray the cost of trainings for Deaf interpreters, which disproportionately require travel and lodging for most participants. Feel free to share this link in your local community.

The Bilingual Mediation Center Events Listing is Betty Colonomos' website for the Bilingual Mediation Center (BMC). This link will bring you directly to the list of trainings led by Betty Colonomos using the IMI as the framework for exploration. Many listings - but not all - are modules from the Foundations of Interpreting Processes series of seminars. Foundations I and Foundations II are the gateway seminars; after taking them, participants are eligible to take the other specialized seminars that are offered.
